Pitino v Duncan

Pitino. Hands down. Why?

He brought in a system, discipline and a hardworking, winning attitude.

Remember, without Pitino, there's possibly no Ron Mercer (wow, this is like
"It's a Wonderful Life"); no jettisoning of the dead weight. No players in
the shape of their lives. No DeClercq. Dee Brown is still around. No Kenny
Anderson. No new practice facility coming. No entertaining team to watch.

It's ML and the scrubs with Duncan and Walker and another first rounder
(Chauncy?). Perhaps Duncan has benefitted from playing with the Admiral.
Who would be his role model in Boston? Who would be the point guard to feed
Duncan the ball?

Remember, it's not the 1997-98 team with Duncan that we're talking about.

It's the 1996-97 team with Duncan. Does that make them 21 games better?

I really doubt it.
