Re: Tommy

Didn't at one game, I can't remember who it was playing against the
Heat, Dr. Jack Ramsay the Heat's announcer in the game made a comment on
the radio which the refs heard. I can't remember the details but the deal
was I think the other team shot an air ball and the refs said it touched
the rim but he made the comment it didn't and the decision was reversed.
I am sure many still remember the incident. I wonder if we can get
Heinsohn on ESPN and cover Celtics. Then maybe instead of last game's
threat, the refs would have given away less fouls to the Pistons.

Just curious.

You would think that a ref would have better things to do than to listen in
on what the TV announcer is saying into his microphone, but Terry Durham
went out of his way to threaten Tommy with ejection! Mike Gorman said
Tommy
was "steaming," but Tommy had the last word: "Do you think he has rabbit
ears?" Tom also said in the final minute, "The refs just aren't going to
let the Pistons lose tonight." Unfortunately, he was right (2-1 FTA ratio
for Detroit).
