Lockout creates divisions

Besides setting us on edge and dividing us into those who lean toward
labor and those who lean toward business, the lockout divides players
and teams. The weak or lowly paid vs. the stars (and those who think
they will be stars.) It's not a pretty sight. I would hope that
leadership would come from the broad middle and some of the "stars" to
compromise (maybe not too quickly) and allow for realistic dialogue.
The players have benefitted greatly. If they show good will here,
they can still force the owners to clean up their own act.

Easy to say in early July.

it?)
