Draft night Fandemonium

I went to Fandemonium, thanks to Jan Crocker's generous free tickets.
Tiny Archibald was there for a photo opportunity. I asked him what he
thought of Kenny Anderson. He said, "Great player, just needs to get
healthy. And he's just borrowing my number." Also got to take a shot
on the parquet floor.

Anyways, Pitino came out right after Philadelphia made their pick. 
He said, roughly, "We got lucky in the draft last year and we've gotten 
lucky this year," and announced the selection of Pierce. There was a 
great ovation at that point. "We had some guys in mind but when Paul 
Pierce dropped to us, it was a no-brainer. We didn't expect to see him 
at 10 because we thought he'd be taken at 3." He was excited about a 
lineup of Anderson, Mercer, Pierce, Walker, and a "5 to be named later," 
and that he thought a forward tandem of Walker and Pierce would be 
excellent. Doesn't sound like he'll be moving Walker after all.
