My case for drafting Dirk Nowitzki:

Hey, RP has already said we're going to be in the lottery next year, so
we're not going anywhere even if we get Nazr or Neon Keon.  We save money
because Nowitzki plays in Europe next year so we have enough money (maybe)
to sign a FA.  We still 
have Popeye to play power forward.  

We wait a year, get another lottery pick, sign Nowitzki, and maybe have two
impact players joining the team.  

Is this nutty or could it work?
