Bulls win 6th ring.......finals MVP should be the Refs.
I don't post here very often, but I just have to let off a little steam.
In my opinion I don't think that the MVP of this series should be MJ, it
should be the refs. Just when it would look like Utah was starting to
get things going suddenly there would be a foul or a no call that would
swing the momemtum to the Bulls. I feel that the refs handed Chicago
game 2 and especially game 6. Todays game was the final straw for me.
There are 2 very big blown calls and one non-call that gave chicago
another title. One was when Eisley hit a 3 as the shot clock ran down,
this was clearly released before the clock expired, it was so obvious
that even those bias annoucers (Bob C and Isiah T) thought it was a
terrible call. But of course that Bull lover Dick Bevetta (sp) waved
off the shot. That one alone would have given Utah the win. Now as a
little insurance they gave Harper a 2 that was after the shot clock
expired, now this was closer and could have been missed. Now that is a
5 point swing. Then the last was MJ's final shot, He DID push Russell
to get his shot off, but hey he is MJ and there was no way in the world
the league was going to let Chicago lose this series. To me this is
sad, because I feel if Utah would have won today they would have won
this series, and I feel the league also felt this way so this game had
to be won by Chicago. My wife used to joke about how the league fixed
games to lengthen series to make more money, I used to laugh at her
saying that there was no way the NBA would do that. Well after today's
game I would have to believe that the NBA did everything they could to
insure a chicago championship. I just don't know if I can even stomach
to watch another NBA game, with the young punks ruining the game to the
refs calling a one sided game, it is just too much to take.
Again I would just like to say that I am venting some disgust for the
way things have changed since the 80's when the games were fun to watch.
If anyone wants to flame me go ahead it won't change my opinions of the
state of the NBA
