Re: Cheerleaders--UGH

Chalk me up as one of those "old" dinos who are not in favor of Celtic
Cheerleaders. Those who are interested in viewing anything other than
basketball have plenty of alternatives to quench their affinity. Most
Celtic fans who have been loyal through the good years and the bad, relish
the basketball, not the sideshows.

And there's nothing wrong with wanting the status quo, as it relates to
Celtic basketball. Though we don't have the same team as in the Russell
years, would the talent and commitment which those teams had be such a
negative thing for this present team to aspire for? I don't think so.
*Some* of the members of this list, unfortunately for them, were not blessed
with having an opportunity to see those great teams in action, so when
someone raves about Rodman's rebounding, they are unaware of the
revolutionizing by Russell.

You can't blame them for it, but one would only hope that they would be
respectful in stating their cases without calling people "old" and other
such adjectives.
