I'm not sure I see this is THAT bad a trade.  Ainge didn't stay in the
starting lineup for much longer after the Celtics traded him, and Kleine
and Pinckney made contributions at positions that were lacking while they
were with us.  I haven't given it much thought, so maybe it was a bad trade
when you look at it more closely.  But I'm sure there are some other Red
Sox fans on this list , and they would share my sentiment that if that goes
down as one of the worst trades for a franchise, they aren't doing too bad.
