Re: All star coaches



Couldn't have said it better myself.  I would not blame Bird for just
saying no.  

I also wonder do the coaches or the players get any extra cash, like say
playoff money, for participating, or in the case of players is it just an
investment to recognize their value to their team and the league, and the
reward, other than satisfaction, is seen the bigger contracts they might
hope to receive.  At least AW and Falk I am sure see it this way.  I think
they just maybe have a right to believe so.  

AW certainly answered the question I had a few weeks ago, about who on this
team had ever or could step up and hit the buzzer beater to win the big
game.  Don't kid yourself this was a BIG game for the teams involved.  I
truly believe this one shot is 10 times (or more), more important to the
long term development of this team than anyone of the great shots AW made
three weeks ago in getting his 49.
