Did Antoine deserve to make the all-star team?

	In today's Globe Pitino wouldn't say who he voted for to make the
all-star team but did admit to voting for players that would help Antoine
make the team.  In other words, he couldn't vote for Antoine directly so
he voted for guys who had no chance at being all-stars.  How do we know
that other coaches didn't do this as well and that enough voted for
Antoine over others because they thought he wouldn't make it?

	So on the one hand we have fans voting in Kobe Bryant, who is a
very promising player but does not deserve to be an all-star let alone a
starter.  And on the other hand we have coaches voting for mediocre
players so that their guy has a better chance.  Maybe this is why Bird
doesn't have any desire to coach the game.  He knows that a once
meaningful institution has been decimated and replaced by a
Hollywood-esque glitz and glamour show.
