Re: re yesterday's events



Just for the record, Parrish made a comment in an interview that he never liked
being in the spotlight, and he was glad Larry was going to be there and take some
of the pressure off him.  Perhaps I'm not cynical enough, but I read long ago they
scheduled this because of Larry's return.  I took it as gospel.  I didn't look for
ulterior motives, so perhaps I'm naive, also.  Every time Parrish has come to
Boston in another team's uniform he's been cheered.  He mentioned that in his
speech.  That the fans' support had been unconditional.  'Nuff said.
