The Bird Man did have his chances w/the Celts organization but he stepped
away when Pitino came into the picture. I really think Pitino was in the
picture 1 full year before this season, with his wanting to stay at
Kentucky with a good looking team that went on to win the NCAA., title.
Bird would not be able to handle or instruct this type of young team, like
he is handling the Pacers. It is well known he allows his staff much input
to help guide the team. Hope we kick the Pacers butts Sunday.
