If this is true, and because of this it would mean the C's aren't in the
lottery, isn't is true of any good player of note.  What is the point of
concerning ourselves with the draft, if all the GOOD players will gone by
the mid first round.  It is possible of course to get quality players, and
I won't list all the current stars, etc. who came late in the 1st round and
later.  Optimism, scouting and luck are the keys to succeeding without a
top 10 draft pick.  

Personally it is a problem I can live with for the next 20 years.
