NBA Preview (Seattle-Boston)
Seattle (28-6) at Boston (16-16) 7:00 pm EST
The Boston Celtics face a stiff test when they go for their
seventh straight home win tonight against the red-hot Seattle
SuperSonics, who have won seven straight games.
Boston returns from a 1-2 road trip and needs a win to
avoid falling below .500 for the first time since December 17th.
The Celtics fell to the Wizards, 110-108, Wednesday, despite
a 49-point effort by Antoine Walker.
The Celtics dropped the last two games of the swing, but
have not lost at the FleetCenter since a 97-87 defeat to the
Bulls on December 3rd.
The Sonics are going for their sixth double-digit victory in
a row tonight. On Thursday, they recorded their biggest
road victory of the season, 109-84, over the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Seattle has won 13 of 14 games and seven straight on the road.
It has won its last four meetings with the Celtics and nine of the
past 10.
