Dave I agree.  Although Austin has been very impressive this year, I 
believe I read he is 29.  (Remember how everyone ragged about Dino being to 
old for our future at 28?) Where has he been ?  And has he proven to be 
worth $5-8M a year ? Knight is a steal at $3M.  As previously stated this 
reminds me too much of when the Clippers jumped at Stanley Roberts and got 
about 20 games in 3 years out of him.


BTW, I'm not sold on Austin.  He had weight problems before last year, and 
I'm not sure he'll have the motivation to keep the weight off after he 
signs a long term contract.  $5 million a year buys a lot of Twinkies.
