Another piece of interest was that Kenny Anderson was such
a big fan of Larry Bird that he with the help of a common
friend of both, Rick Carlisle [long time Bird friend and
current Indiana offensive guru with Bird] was able to get
one of Bird's used converse sneakers and Bird autographed it.

Sounds like kids play....but nice to read than some of the
bashings we see recently on this list.
