kanderson eval

For those who haven't seen him play much...

Terell Brandon said last season on TV that Kenny Anderson
is hands down the BEST ballhandler in the league. Anderson was being
compared to Magic with the way he ran Georgia Tech as a freshman,
and is a legend on the NY playgrounds. Mostly he's a Rod Strickland
type slasher/passer with a fair jumper out to 3 pt range.
He and the Blazers had a serious rivalry w/ Payton and
the Sonics, and from watching them go head to head, Anderson has
as much quickness/speed. His left handed jumper looks funny, but
it's pretty consistent. He'll showboat with his dribbling but his passes
are usually pretty solid and fundamental(unlike Billups).
Average on D. Looks to be in excellent shape, but never dunks.
By far, his strength on this team is going to be leadership,
and smoother offense. Antoine won't be chewing Kenny out like he
does to Chauncey. Anderson is too sure of himself, and was totally
an on court coach for Portland in playoff games.
Walter, and especially Travis should cry tears of joy because he
gets people some very easy shots on the break.
