Here is what I hear:




Point guard Kenny Anderson, who refused to report to the Toronto Raptors 
after being dealt from the Portland Trail Blazers, is close to being 
unloaded by the Raptors in a six-player deal with the Boston Celtics one 
day before the NBA trading deadline, according to ESPN's David Aldridge.

The Raptors would send Anderson to Boston along with injured power forward 
Popeye Jones and injured center Zan Tabak for guards Chauncey Billups and 
Dee Brown and forward John Thomas.


The "Fabulous SportsBabe" of the ABC Radio Network is reporting that once 
the deal is finalized, the Raptors are expected to send Brown to the 
Minnesota Timberwolves in exchange for guards Chris Carr and Micheal 
Williams.



Rick, wake the up !!!!    Why don't we keep Billups & move Brown to 
Minnesota for Carr & Williams ourselves ?  This would be a much preferable 
deal IMO.  Anderson is a good guard, but carries too much baggage.  Lets 
not dump the #3 pick in the draft simply to jettison only Dee Brown.  I 
believe both Tabak & Jones are injured.  That's all we need is for them 
taking up bench space next to Pervis. Even if it is only for the rest of 
the year, if it is only Dee's contract we are worried about lets deal with 
Minnesota and let Toronto deal with Anderson, or MAKE them throw in Camby, 
Wallace, or Christie.  Hey we do not have to make this move, they do. 
 Let's play hardball.


Could we get Laettner out of Atlanta for Travis & Billups ?
