Report: Raptors send Kenny Anderson to Celtics



TORONTO -- Point guard Kenny Anderson, who refused to report to the Toronto
Raptors after being dealt from the Portland Trail Blazers, has reportedly
been unloaded by the Raptors in a six-player deal with the Boston Celtics
one day before the NBA trading deadline.


The ABC Radio Network's "Fabulous SportsBabe" reported Wednesday that the
Raptors have traded Anderson, injured power forward Popeye Jones and
injured center Zan Tabak to the Celtics for guards Chauncey Billups and Dee
Brown and forward John Thomas. 

The "Fabulous SportsBabe" is also reporting that the Raptors are expected
to send Brown to the Minnesota Timberwolves in exchange for guards Chris
Carr and Micheal Williams.
