VISIONS OF ML CARR...

Boy did the Celts rot! They lost to the worst team in the league in a
big blowout. For the first time all season the Celts lost to a team
they really should have beat. When the press is broken almost every
time and the team FG % is 32% then a loss is almost bound to happen
even if they're playing the Nuggets. The Celts were comparable to the
Scrap Heap. Walker let his All Star status get to his head and he
thought he could dominate inside. He must've got blocked 10 times by
the Denver interior. Also Billups was useless except for the 4th
quarter. I think because it was a homecoming for Chauncey, he tried
to do too much to please his home state. The best players of the
night for the C's was Declerq and Mr. Trade Bait Dee Brown. One could
say the Celts were rusty due to the All Star break but all the other
teams had the break off too. This 7 game road trip is very important
for the Celts because they can pad their record big time if they beat
the teams they should beat. I think 5 of the teams they play on the
road trip are all under .500 (Kings, Clippers, Nuggets, Grizzlies,
Blazers) and have a worse record than the Celts. It doesn't help to
lose to the worst team in the league especially since two of the
teams they will play on this road trip are the Sonics and Lakers. The
Celts better wake up and pick up someone big before the trade or the
playoffs will be out of their reach.
