Being realistic,  to get Penny it would probably take Billups & Mercer and 
maybe more.  Being that Penny is a proven star I would make that move. 
 Then we could offer Knight, McCarty & Jones for Laettner & Ed Gray both in 
Wilkens doghouse.  Then Brown & Thomas for Brent Barry.


As you can see I do not sit on the "sit and wait,  status quo" side.  That 
is exactly what the last ten years has been.  This team has no floor leader 
and A.W. is going to get pummeled if he doesn't get some supporting cast.
