Absurd



The article that was posted with information about Hunter's conference
calls reveals the problem.  The players think they are more important
than teams or games.  I hope they form a league, the NBA declares and
impasse and they see how much money they make in their own league.  It
will fail.  Why, because there are no new markets to tap.  It is
oversaturated.  Second, there is a high degree of team loyalty and as
Falk has said, the average career is 4 years.  The players are not the
franchise.  The Bulls were there before and will be there after MJ.  So,
let their deluded egos go down in flames.  How much will a player's
league pay Latrell to pull a gun on his teammates?  Reality will set in
in a hurry.
