This area is gray to me. People smoke marijuana every day and don't get
fired from their jobs. If they smoke it at their job or if it is effecting
their performance in a way that the boss can lay the blame on the drug use,
well then, they have a case. But smoking alone can't get you fired. Let's
not rehash the debate about drug testing, but suffice to say, I consider it
an invasion of privacy.

Also, if NBA players lost their job every time they broke "society's rules"
then Chris Webber, Greg Minor, et al would not be employed today. I'm sure
Kevin Garnett or Kobe Bryant enjoyed a beer or two before their 21st
birthdays. What about sex for money? What about illegal sex (technically
sodomy is illegal in many states)?

Open that can of worms and you won't have any players.
