He was also married to Phyllis George who was one of the first prominent
(although not exactly capable) women sportscasters. Luckily Red took Brown's
Lemon (McAdoo) and made Lemonade by trading him for the 1st pick in the draft,
then trading that pick to GS for Parish & the pick that became McHale. GS
drafted Joe Barry Carroll with the pick from the C's.
