Re: New stuff at Celticland



They're (rookies) all unproven before they enter the NBA, but by 
watching them play during their college  and even high
school careers,  NBA pre-draft camps and team workouts, you're usually 
provided with a  basic evaluation of their skill level.  Then
you take that information and form some sort of projection of what you
expect the finished product to be.  And in the case of Olowokandi and 
Pierce, you're certainly talking about the two most refined
products in this draft.  I would be shocked if these two were busts.
I'd be flabbergasted if the two of them didn't make the all-rookie
team, but I wouldn't be surprised if they both  experieced a change of 
locales. 

Kenny Anderson isn't at the same level as a Gary Payton, Penny Hardaway, 
or Jason Kidd.  Those three can play defense, as well
as distribute the ball.
