Michael Holley On WEEI

Michael Holley was on the A-Team on WEEI for a brief interview, and here's a
couple of things he's said:

- Antoine's family is very upset at Bob Ryan for labelling him a
"Punk". They've called the Globe and tried to arrange a meeting with Bob.
Ryan of course, is off in Athens covering the World Championships.

- The Celtics unless they get a big man may only win 38 or 39 games. More
realistically, Holley thought they would finish with around 42 or 43 wins
and probably wind up with the 8th playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.

- Antoine's going to ask for $100 million, but a more realistic figure may be
around $80 million.

- There will never be another player receiving a Kevin Garnett-size contract.

- The Globe's Nick Carfado, who is co-hosting the A-Team show with Craig
Mustard, thinks Pitino will make a plethora of deals.

- Celtic management is hoping the CBA is modified so they can sign Walker, but
if they can't, other teams like Chicago, will certainly be able to, especially
sans Jordan and Pippen.

- Antoine is steaming over the Bob Ryan column, and Holley has not been in
touch with him since his interview.
