Draft & Camps
http://espnet.sportszone.com/nba/features/00508012.html has some good info
on the pre-draft camps and player ratings. Although it does not include
some of the recent players declaring for the draft. There is a good story
on this at : http://www.collegeinsider.com/hoops/
An interesting piece on Dirk Nowitski
If you saw the Nike Hoop Summit game, you saw the true best young player in
the world today. Forget Korleone Young, forget Al Harrington, forget
anybody else. The MAN these days is Germany's Dirk Nowitzki, the 6'10
forward who may yet play college ball in the US. Nowitzki put on a show in
leading the world team to victory, and in the process showed he is
everything that Chris Burgess was SUPPOSED to be this year, but isn't.
Nowitzki will be in the NBA sooner than later, but whichever college team
gets him will certainly be getting the top prospect in the entire world.
Nowitzki displayed a nice touch with free throws when fouled in the post,
and a nice touch with English at the post-game interview. Both qualities
should come in handy as he takes his one-man-show to its next stop
