Re: MY FEELINGS

Dorine,

You're not alone. I've had the same feeling watching then camp games
and the preseason games. My wife expressed the same feelings. Right
now you have to become a conceptual Celtics fan rather than a players
fan. Most of us associate the team with particular players we know
real well. =20

I had a lot of problems during the games keeping the new players
straight. In fact, other than pervis, walker, dee and dana it was
difficult. As you watch the new constantly changing celtics you will
again start to feel comfortable as you learn the new player attitudes,
habits, personalities, etc.

During this whole time the key thing to focus on is the coach. You
will never get another opportunity to watch a true teacher in action.
I have spent more time observing Pitino than the players. I am truly
impressed with the man. This year you will witness something not seen
since Red came here in the fifties. Unfortunately, i can only comment
based on hearsay as i was a little kid busy playing rifleman with my
ex-celtic chuck connors famous gun.

Pitino is far beyond calipari and it a godsend to basketball compared
to Pat Riley.

Mark my words. COme the end of December, you'll feel right at home
with the new celtics. (and yes, I wish David Wesley or Rick Fox
could have been part of this team in a bench capacity.)
