Re: Ben Pepper

Ben Pepper is a center from Australia who was the Celtics' second round
pick in the 1997 draft. Some people compare him to Chris Antsey and Paul
Grant, two centers picked in the first round. That can be considered both
good and bad. He was never signed to a contract and really should never
have been on the roster. He is currently playing in Australia's NBL and
probably won't come to the U.S. at least until next summer. He is a
'project' who is a good athlete but has limited NBA-caliber basketball
skills.

NBA.com only updates their rosters after they are turned in to the league
office by the individual teams. Apparantly the Celtics haven't turned in
an updated one recently and probably won't until Opening Night.
