Hopefully a lot of the current problems are due to the jitters and
unfamiliarity with each other.  We have to remember this is a totally new
squad where others have at least some nucleus remaining (except for Denver
and Cleveland ?) and it will take a while.  The lack of outside shooting is
disturbing.  We need to have this to free up some of the inside game to be
competitive.  It is good to hear Bowen can play D, this could allow us to
use him & Mills at 2 & 3 with an Edney at point and not be such a defensive
liability, but does not help much if they can't hit the outside jumper also.

With the Clippers with Kiwane Garris, Darrick Martin, Pooh Richardson &
Brent Barry I would love to see us move Barros , Brown or Minor for Barry or
even Richardson to get a bigger more experienced point as I am still unsure
Billups will be the answer for a few years.


It also appears Keith Closs may be the Clippers answer at center. he put up
some decent numbers in a short time giving up 63 lbs to Big Country.
