Plan B

If the you are crying because the C's didn't get the number one just
remember that you brought it on yourself...Every body already had Duncan as
our starting center and didn't think this might happen, but now it has so
let's make the best of it.
If the Celtics are smart they'll snatch Ron Mercer up with the number 3
pick (saying philly takes battie). Mercer will be one of the leagues best
Shooting guards in 2 max 3 years. In Pitino's system he and Antoine will
run the show and be the be cornerstones of the next great Celtics unit.
Sense Duncan has virtually been picked by the spurs, Rick should be smart
and try to trade for the only all-star in league willing to play for the
c's. Get creative, through in Williams, Radja, Barros and the number 6
pick for Vin Baker, and there number 10. If the Bucks won't take it, then
sweaten the deal, throw in a future 1st rounder or a player to be named
later. If the Bucks do bite, this might be better than Duncan.
But, that trade trade is most unlikely to even be talked abouted and this
is...With the number six pick in the 1997 nba draft the Boston Celtics
select Adonal Foyle. Foyle would fill out the front line and be the clog
that has been needed sense the days of the CHEIF.
Hopefully...
c-baker/ellison
pf-walker/fortson/conlon
sf-fox/minor/conlon
sg-mercer/day
pg-wesley/brown
trading radja, barros, williams would free up tons of cap space, which the
celtics should save for a future crop of free-agents
...most likely
c-foyle/ellison
pf-radja/abrams/conlon
sf-walker/williams
sg-mercer/minor/barros
pg-wesley/barros/brown
this squad would be much deeper but still not going to challenge for
anything but a high lottery seed...No-matter what happens walker and mercer
are going to be stars(thats given) but its going to depend on how much help
they receive...
