It's official.  M.L. is incompetent even as a lottery good luck charm.

It could have been worse.  At least the Sixers and that idiotic 
buffoon Croce won't get Duncan.  As I see it, the Spurs take Duncan, the 
Sixers (as needy as we are at the 5) take Battie, leaving us with a 
choice of Mercer or Van Horn.  Vancouver takes whichever of those two 
are left, Denver takes Billups or Foyle, we take Kelvin Cato?

Let's all hope that this is either a blessing in disguise or that King 
Ricky the Last can find some ingenious way out of the box.  I can't help 
thinking it would've been a lot easier if the balls had bounced our 
way.....
