I hate to rain on your parade, but no coach gives any team instant
credibilty.
Pitino won't run the break, he won't take the three pointers, he won't
go up for the rebounds, he won't put his body on the other team's big
man, he won't be the go to guy when we are down by 2 with 2 seconds to
play, etc.
He can't control the the luck of the draw in the lottery.  He has to 
replace as a many as 8 players from last year's CBA team.  Let's give
him our support, but not make it impossible for him to succeed with our
expectations.  Assuming we get the #1 pick in the draft and a very good
player with our second, they are still at least 2 years away from the 
playoffs.  Then making that assumption they are 2 more years away from 
a serious titile run.
