CNNSI Sportstonight said last night that Celtics are doing
major housecleaning....as a matter of fact purging everyone.
They clearly said that MLCarr will be with the organisation
but in absolutely NO decision making capacity. GM Volk, all
asst. coaches and scouting personnel are being flushed out
in favor of the new regime.

However they did mention that Gaston is curious to see if 
Bird could remain with the Celts. It is no secret that Pitino
was picked as # 1 by Bird. It is curious to note that nothing
has been even speculated about Bird the last few days including
his move to Pacers.

I guess all will unravel later today.

Let us not at least thank ML Carr for this new scenario.
Because I am not sure that even Pitino would have come
if Celts didnot have the 2 picks in the first five, most
probably the #1 pick called Duncan. ML did his sacrifice
(if you could call so) to give others a chance to redeem 
this fabulous franchise.......Only if Pitino and co. could
unload some of our over paid quasi-players to free up 
salary for future re-signings of Walker, Williams, this
years' top picks etc.
