You know, everybody is down on Antoine for his pride in his stats, but I say
give him a break.  Rick Pitino says they should be thrown out because he's on
a bad team.  MEanwhile, Alan Iverson is ROY, and that kind of respect means a
lot to a young player.  Maybe not to Bill Russell or Larry Bird in their
prime, but a rookie has something to prove.  Plus, do you think it's easy to
go out and get seventeen and nine everynight for six months?  I would be
proud too.  Antoine is right to be pleased with what he's done.  Pitino had
better watch out -- you can't treat these guys like errant children.  They
are men, and they make the rules. They need instruction, discipline, and
guidance, but don't pull that college paternalistic bullshit.
