Lottery Odds... Again

The boston globe had a MIT mathematician calculat the odds based on a
13 team lottery.

#1 Pick
Boston - 27.7%
Dallas - 6.1%
Total:  33.8%

#2 Pick
Boston - 11.6%
Dallas - 3.5%
Total:   15.1%

#3 Pick
Boston - 16.7%
Dallas - 5.8%
Total - 22.5%

This means the celtics have a 72% chance they will have either the #1,
#2 or #3 pick!

Of better news is that the NBA will probably make this a 12 team
lottery instead of a 13 team lottery because the bullets lost theirs
with the miami heat fiasco!  With a 12 team pool, the celts chance
increase further.  Can't wait.

PS: Did anybody see that terrible no call three point foul in the last
2 seconds of the BC/St. Joe's game.  Everbody, including St. Joe's
coach, saw it clearly except for the refs.  Guess the atlantic 10 paid
them off so they could have bragging rights over the big east.
