I just have to reitirate that taking Jacque Vaughn with the 6th or
7th pick in the draft is a bad idea. You list him as a backup point guard
and that is all he'll ever be, which is not worth a lottery pick. Instead
we should consider Chauncey Billups if he is the best player available.
At 6'3" he can backup both guard positions and he has the potential to
develop into a Gary Payton/Jason Kidd type. Admittedly that's a bit
optimistic, but he has a huge upside.
Furthermore, Brickowski's career (thankfully) is over. After
paying him $1.5M to do nothing this year, there is no way the C's will
bring him back. And he won't care either because he already has his nest
egg to fall back on.

This is a good idea except that the only reason the Chief came
back this year is to win one more ring. I think he has one year left on
his contract, but he still might retire. If we can bring him in as a
special assistant coach for Duncan (kind of like Shaq with his free throw
coach), that would be a great move.
