When players like Olden Polynice and Michael Smith, along with other
established players at PF i.e. Vin Baker, Anthony Mason, Elden Campbell
etc have made routine practice of beating the guy up and down the court,
I must question his footspeed. There have been times when Dino showed
that he's capable of running, but he's also prone to either losing sight
of his man, or forgetting to stop whomever it is in the opposing jersey.
I guess my gripe is at the defensive end. Don't get me wrong, I like
him as a player. I just think it's time for Dino to move on if we can
find someone to take his oft injured self. And coming off his knee
injury, I don't think he's going to be ready to challenge the winner of
the Donovan Bailey/Michael Johnson Race yet. Comments?
