That is free agency, it sometimes works to the players benefit and
occasionaly it works to the teams benefit. By the same token, shoudn't the
league have forced shaq to be with Orlando. Shaq went where ever he felt
like..so why shouldn't a coach or GM trade a player whenever it feels that
the trade will help the team.

He has been well compensated for his skills and regarding flourishing under
RP, shouldn't the coach be making that judgement.

PS: Now the trade has been voided, so probably there is no point in
continuing with this discussion. 76ers have very cleverly wiggled out of
the trade..at the same time, it will almost be impossible to trade Dino
Radja because of obvious reasons. Dino if he continues to play here will
have to deal with media and fans.
