Dino's Cap Money

Just listening to WEEI on RealAudio and heard the Dino situation.  
What happens to the cap money if he just doesn't show up? Can we 
renounce our rights to him and get use of the cap money? What if he 
goes back to Europe? Do we get the cap money then? I'm just afraid to 
see us stuck in another Reggie Lewis situation where we don't have a 
player (or have a player we don't want and have traded) and still 
don't get use of his cap money....
