But why would we want Pippen? The team needs to do some basic rebuilding
first, not sign a marquee player for big bucks. It doesn't seem to me that
this is a move that would be good for the future. It is also not as if
Pippen has genuine leadership qualities; i.e. a guy who would be able to
motivate a group of less-talented players, nor is it obvious to me that he
would tolerate being on a losing team for a few years. At the end of it
what would the Celts end up with? I am not sure.
