I don't mean to cast asparagus on your ruminations but I think you are
both; 1) stating the obvious and 2) preaching to the converted. The only
points I would queston is whether LB should be GM and DJ the coach. We
don't have any idea how good either of these guys would be -- being a star
basketball player doesn't mean you know how to run a team (and we've
already discussed a few classic examples). Personally I always thought that
McHale was smarter than Larry (once they stepped out of bounds), so I am
not real impressed by the comparison, but then again maybe he's not. We
don't know.

Also I think the "overage, no-talent players" you refer to are there for a
reason. Hmmm..... what might that reason be? (I'll give you a hint, they
all have contracts that expire at the end of the year).
