You omitted Iverson, Stoudamire, Kidd, Payton, Hardaway, Jackson, Avery 
Johnson, Van Exel, Brevin Knight, Oscar Robertson and Nate Archibald too.

I think you should speak for yourself.  Who are the "we" you refer to?  
There are many supportive Celtic fans who could care less about the 
excitement a player creates, as long as he helps his team win the game.

Might have something to do with playing a position he's never played before.
And what true point guard does he have to set an example for him?

So with all his faults and weaknesses, he has more trade value than 
Toine?  Must be because of the contract Toine will be seeking next year 
coz I can't see you thinking that CB is more marketable than Walker.  Is 
that what you mean?  Mercer doesn't have unlimited potential?
