Yes, I really would like to see Ike Auston in Celtic Uniform. At the
same time, I would also like to be able to keep Billups. The best scenario
for us would be to sign Auston as a FA next year. Hopefully, we will be
able to clear some cap space by then.
IF this would happen, I think that Celtics are one player away from being a
championship team. This might never happen, but if Celts are able to pick
up a player like a Mashburn(or Mashburn), we will be a tough team to beat.
I also think that this would help Billups, by having another excellent
ball handler out there with him.
(Miami sometimes lets Mashburn play the point-forward position, so that
Tim Hardaway get more offensive plays)
That could give us a line up of:
C: Austin
PF: Walker
SF: Mashburn
SG: Mercer
PG: Billups
