Re: Trade Suggestions

Not to be overly critical, but there are many facts that need to be cleared
up on this faux trade with Phoenix and Chapman.

As has been already noted, Chapman was at Kentucky before Pitino came to
UK.

Maybe someone can correct me, but could we ever make a trade with all these
heavy contracts for a single player with a league minimum deal? It is
often noted on trade ideas here, that "the deal can't work because the
salaries +/- 15% don't match". This is why Montross was apparently thrown
into the Stackhouse trade.

Lastly it has been noted many times, that Chapman remained at Phoenix this
year, he could have made 2MM+ after last years strong performance, as a FA,
but stayed for the minimum, to get the BIG deal with the LB rules after
this season. Now maybe the Suns would trade him for some unknown reason,
but if he is there after the season, he isn't going anywhere, because of
his impending BIG deal. He would only have to start over somewhere else.

BTW, tonights game, what with playing Duncan's team, brings the post X-Mas
reality trip smack into our faces. We enjoyed the +.500 record for the
holidays. I predict 6 wins out of the 19 games through the end of January
(I feel I likely am being very generous in this regard). Any other guesses
for the next five weeks?

Ho Ho Ho!
