RE: PGs Play



I'll bet they'd like to have his FT %.  The only attributes they have 
that he may not be showing right now is footspeed and piling up the 
assists, at least in the case of Iverson and Marbury.  But as you said, 
it could take time and it will.  Kobe doesn't play pg when Nick Van E is 
oncourt, so I don't include him.

I don't even feel it's worthwhile to compare him to these other guys yet 
because it's still too early.  I am very encouraged by his recent play 
and that gives me reason to believe that he is a coachable player who is 
receptive to the messages delivered by the coach.  He is trying to do 
what RP wants him to, and we should all be excited and pleased, instead 
of looking for faults.  If Pitino can show more confidence in him, why 
can't the fans?  But that's part of the fun of being on this list isn't it?
