Just a note that the NBA is not a government agency.  They aren't required 
(legally or otherwise) to give their players "due process."  They have 
every right to fire somebody who attacks his coach (twice!).  The fact that 
he was only suspended for one year is amazing.

I'm sure his legal team is going to claim that they are unfairly limiting 
his employment in his chosen field, but there is still the CBA, Europe, and 
other smaller leagues around.  The fact that the NBA is the most popular 
(and lucrative) league isn't the NBA's fault.  It'll be interesting to see 
what Cochran comes up with, but they really don't have much of a legal 
case.
