This is totally off subject, but hey, the C's have a few days off, and its
interesting.  I agree that Knight doesn't give athletes the prima donna
deal, which is good.  But on the other hand, neither do most of the other
big time schools, like Duke or UNC.  I'd choose either of them (probably
Duke) if I wanted the best of all worlds--a good education, great coach,
chance to win national championship.  Somebody brought up the idea that
Knight has had underachieving teams that had lots of talent.  I want to
know where that talent went when they left IU?  How many great NBA players
do you see from IU?  Isaiah and...?  Calbert Cheaney?  I know there have
been some to go into the NBA, but he has done very well, and I would say
with considerably less talent than we've seen at UNC over the past 20
years, for example.
