Watching ALL Teams

Wow! With all of the changes to the Celtics lineup, we will be watching a
lot of NBA games in which we will be intimately familiar with the players.
I'll be following LA, Denver, Charlotte, Panthinos, and the CBA, not to
mention golf courses and retirement homes.

I'm happy for Wesley and Fox...wondering about Day though...where is he?

I am taking a wait and see attitude before I question Pitino's moves. Are
we better off than we were a year ago? YES! I am excited to see all of
these new players in a new system with a new coach.

ML applied bandaids to gaping wounds and now some people are questioning
why Pitino came in and performed surgery on the same wound. The
difference? A professional who looks long term and has ways and strategies
to help fix problems. He may not solve everything right away or even in a
few years, but as long as Pitino is around, you know he will be doing his
level best to put the best team out on that floor every night and give fans
something for their money.

We were the laughingstock of the league last year and now we are on the
road to respectability. If RP says that these players have an upside and
he actually WANTS them, then I have to believe that he is doing the best he
can for the Boston Celtics. He doesn't want to have a BAD team so that must
mean he's building a GOOD team, from the materials he's been given. Why
should we expect perfection? The man will make mistakes. When you are
talking about a small talent pool and a staff of players that consists of
ONLY 12 men, well, the margin of error is not great.

I'm excited and only have positive thoughts going into this season. I'll be
watching every game as I did last year. It has to be better.
