I think the standard should be this:
Is the team fun to watch?
Does the team show promise?
Are our young guns developing?
Can we win at home consistently?
Do we enter games with a realistic hope of victory?
Are we watching the standings to see how close we are to a playoff berth
rather than where we stand in the lottery?
Do other teams want our players?
